Ocean Forwarding

Forwarding - process

We provide customs clearance and  IOR services through cooperation with Canadian local customs brokers. In addition, through the Canadian NRI program registration agency service, we help Korean corporations act as legal Canadian importers, and we also provide tax services with local certified public accountants.

Ocean Shipment

Similar to truck freight, ocean freight can be cleared through customs with a simple set of documents as listed below:

  • CI (Commercial Invoice)

  • PL (Packing List)

  • CO (Certificate of Origin)

Please note that customs clearance for ocean shipments generally takes longer than other transportation methods. On average, there is a delay of about 48 hours after vessel arrival before customs clearance can begin. The cargo must first be offloaded and stored at the designated port warehouse before a Canadian customs broker can initiate the clearance process.
